To ensure a proper diagnosis of your pet, we will need to perform a complete physical exam and obtain a detailed medical history. We begin a medical assessment by looking at your pets eyes, ears, skin, and checking his or her cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities. Our hospital is equipped with blood chemistry analyzers to test your pets kidneys, liver, pancreas, electrolytes, as well as their red and white blood cell counts. We also have in-house tests for FeLV and FIV, Heartworm , and Parvovirus infection. Based on your pet’s condition, we may recommend further diagnostic tests, such as urinalysis, radiology (x-rays), ultrasound, biopsy, or more specialized blood testing through Idexx Laboratory.
If you’re concerned that some thing may be wrong with your pet, please call us to schedule an appointment.
